Celebrating Dr. Yushu Gu’s PhD Graduation

New publication: Ligand identification for Kir4.2

Conference: International Mass Spectrometry Conference 2024

On July 30, 2024, Professor Quinn and Dr. Liu attended the PhD graduation ceremony of Dr. Yushu Gu to celebrate this significant milestone.

Congratulations to Dr. Gu on this achievement! We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

New publication: Ligand identification for Kir4.2

New publication: Ligand identification for Kir4.2

New publication: Ligand identification for Kir4.2

A new ligand of ion channel Kir4.2 was identified from a screening using the collision- induced affinity selection mass spectrometry (CIAS-MS). This work was published on ACS Chemical Biology.

New publication: Ligand identification for Kir4.2

In a celebration of academic excellence, Yushu Gu has been awarded her PhD degree, marking a significant milestone in her educational journey. The group gathered for a delightful group lunch to celebrate this remarkable achievement 🎓.

New publication: Ligand identification for TRPM2

New publication: Ligand identification for TRPM2

New publication: Ligand identification for TRPM2

Collision- induced affinity selection mass spectrometry (CIAS-MS)  was utilised to investigate the transient receptor potential melastatin 2 (TRPM2), which is a Ca2+ permeable non-selective cation channel, within the transient receptor potential (TRP) ion channel superfamily. A new ligand of TRPM2 was identified from a screening. This work was published on ChemBioChem.
